Children can meditate. And here is something more: children can do Sahaja Yoga Meditation just as well or better than adults. They can meditate, feel vibrations and they can fix themselves. How is that for equality and simplicity?
Anywhere in the world, when we hear of a child is in peril, we stop. We rally. In the space between our heartbeats, we pray for their safety. Children do that to us, don't they? They take us outside our own lives. They show us the future. They give us hope. They are our well-being.

It is a generally accepted scientific theory that human beings are social animals and are empowered with intellectual capabilities, which is constantly influencing them to better their ways of living. This means that every person has to function within the norms set by society in general, and his immediate circle in particular. While functioning within these boundaries he/she has to fulfill his/her aspirations along with the activity of earning his/her lively hood. Therefore over long years of civilization, we have developed a very complex structure of society, which is fragmented in many ways. Depending upon the parameters of culture, profession, caste, creed, religion etc. Similarly a business executive has to meet his/her career aspirations, company commitments, family obligations and social expectations.

These systems control how we act and perceive our universe through the senses and the autonomic system also governs the automatic running of our bodies by controlling essential non-conscious tasks such as the rate of our beat.

In the sacrum bone at the base of the spine in every individual there exists a subtle and dormant coil of spiritual energy known as the Kundalini. This energy has been well documented through the ages, and has become a core part of many of the most authoratitive Yoga and spiritual practices. In AD1290, for instance, the renowned Indian saint and mystic Jnanadeva documented in detail the existence of this energy in his seminal treatise on Yoga and the spiritual universe, Jnaneshwari.
